If you have not been to University Village lately, you would not recognize it from all the changes in the neighborhood. Kohan Japanese Restaurant is located on Maxwell Street - yes, that Maxwell Street. I was expecting to see run down buildings and food carts of yester year.
The businesses there is located east of Halsted Street with new facades and statuary homage to Maxwell Street's past. In fact, the area is clean and active.
Kohan Japanese Restaurant features Japanese and Korean cuisine. Try the Korean BBQ, the sushi and the Zen Green Tea Mojito!
