Stages St. Louis Presents Its First Holiday Production:
Little Women, The Musical
Stages St. Louis will present its first ever holiday production this December, when it brings Little Women, The Musical to the historic Roberts Orpheum Theatre, formerly known as The American Theatre, in Downtown St. Louis from December 5 - 20.
Little Women follows the touching and timeless story of the March sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy - as they grow up in Civil War America, and features book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. Based on the beloved Louisa May Alcott novel, Little Women enjoyed a Broadway run and National Tour in 2005.
The Stages production will run for 19 performances with evening shows beginning at 8:00 pm and matinees beginning at 2:00 pm. A special student matinee will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 10 am.

Stages performs its mainstage productions in the intimate, 384-seat Robert G. Reim Theater at the Kirkwood Civic Center, 111 South Geyer Road, 63122. The 2009 season will feature Little Shop of Horrors (May 29 - June 28), The Drowsy Chaperone (July 17 - August 16), and Guys & Dolls (September 4 - October 4).
