From the St. Louis Business Journal, we learn that at the Balaban's location, investors will be reopening under a new name, Herbie's, named after the restaurant's founder, Herbie Balaban. Two of the investors are the co-owners of Monarch Restaurant. The restaurant is expected to be reminiscent of the days that Balaban's first opened!
