Fair St. Louis -
Fair St. Louis festivities will begin July 4, at 10 a.m., when dozens of floats and marching bands make their way down Market Street for the 131st annual VP Parade. After the parade, head to Soldiers Memorial Plaza (the location has changed due to flooding on the riverfront) for a full day of fair activities. Kids will enjoy the games and crafts at the Family Fun Village, and there's food for every age and taste.

1 p.m. - Drake Bell
8 p.m. - Joss Stone
9:30 p.m. - Fireworks

Alton, Illinois!
The town of Alton is a pure slice of Americana, so it's hard to find a better place for an Independence Day festival.
Alton's Mississippi River Fireworks Festival is held on the Alton riverfront (check for updates about location changes due to flooding). There's food, beer, live entertainment and a big fireworks display, set against the beautiful Clark Bridge.

Webster Groves Community Days
One day just isn't enough to celebrate Independence Day in Webster Groves. Community Days is a four-day celebration featuring a carnival, BBQ, parade and fireworks. It's truly an old-fashioned event that draws visitors from around the St. Louis area. The festival's held at Memorial Park, just south of Interstate 44 off the Elm Avenue exit.
